There has been another mall shooting… this time in Alabama. The risk of violence out in America these days is exactly why so many Americans have turned to online shopping. Two young men got into a fight at the mall. It ended with one man shot and killed by police. A teenager and a 12-year-old girl were injured during the altercation.
A deadly Black Friday shooting took place at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, a Birmingham suburb. That’s when two officers confronted the 21-year-old man and eventually had to take him out. The 18-year-old man injured is in serious condition and the 12-year-old girl is in stable condition. ABC News has more on this developing story:
A man was shot and killed by police after a fight at an Alabama mall ahead of Black Friday shopping resulted in gunfire that injured a teenager and a 12-year-old girl.
The shooting occurred late Thursday at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, a Birmingham suburb, a police statement said.
Lexi Joiner told Al.com she was shopping with her mother when the gunfire started. Joiner said she heard six or seven shots and was ordered, along with some other shoppers, into a supply closet for cover.
