Sheriff David Clarke is pointing out the hypocrisy of those calling for Roy Moore immediately to terminate his Senate candidacy.
Many, including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Arizona Sen. John McCain, have demanded Moore to step down regardless if he is guilty or not of sexual assault of a minor.
The Democrats are thrilled about the possibility of Moore being out of the race, which can mean that the Democratic Party will get the Alabama Senate seat.
“Pardon me folks,” Clarke wrote in a tweet. “I must have missed the long list of prominent Democrats who called on Senator Menendez to step aside and resign after being not just accused but criminally CHARGED with political corruption If someone has that list, please direct me to it.”

He wrote the tweet as a response to a tweet posted by Romney in which he demanded Moore to step down because “Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections. I believe Leigh Corfman. Her account is too serious to ignore. Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.”
Other people weight in and questioned the timing and the source of the accusations against Moore.
38yrs have passed? Not last month, last year or before?
Coincidentally timed just before an election. The reporting newspaper, WaPost, endorsed the Dem opponent.
Unethical Democrats brag about using these tactics just to win.https://t.co/MBIC4DO935

But the hypocrisy still stands, where were these Democrats to demand resignations when President Bill Clinton’s accusation surfaced, or Sen. Bob Menendez when was charged with corruption?
When dem bill Clinton attacks women the media defends and never calls for him to resign. But a GOP candidate has an accuser and there are calls for him to resign. Simple plan to get Moore in trouble before election so dem can win. Maybe a TV as of Him running down kids w/truck?

Roy Moore should change his name to Bob Menendez, and then the media will leave him alone.

Menendez allegations are 5 years old.
Corrupt media covered Moore more in 3 hours than Menendez in those 5 years.
Another reason we cannot trust them. And should not.

Did John McCain demand Sen Robert Menendez resign before he had his day in court?
But he thinks Roy Moore should? Smh
