Nancy Mace Faces Jaw-Dropping Accusations in Startling New Deposition

Nancy Mace Accused of Using Nude Photos in Blackmail Plot to Win High-Stakes Real Estate Fight

A former campaign advisor to Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has dropped a bombshell in a sworn deposition, alleging that the congresswoman once asked him to blackmail her ex-fiancé using explicit images found on his phone in an effort to gain control over jointly owned properties.

The startling claim adds another twist to the already volatile saga between Mace and her ex, Patrick Bryant—a story that now involves abuse allegations, federal investigations and a congressional display of a nude photo.

Political strategist Wesley Donehue, who previously advised Mace, testified that the Republican lawmaker confided in him after discovering nude photos of other women on Bryant’s phone.

Rather than going to law enforcement, Mace allegedly asked Donehue to use the images as leverage.

“She sat on that information for well over a year, did not wanna contact authorities, and asked me to blackmail Patrick Bryant,” Donehue testified, according to a deposition reviewed by Just the News.

Donehue described how Mace’s behavior blurred the lines between the professional and personal.

“More so than any client I’ve ever worked with, Nancy blurred the lines between personal and official,” he stated. “To the point that a professional relationship becomes very unprofessional very soon, very quickly.”

Despite expressing fears for her safety and showing Donehue the compromising images in November 2023, Mace proceeded to vacation with Bryant and his friends in the Caribbean just days later.

“I said ‘Nancy, you can’t say you fear for your safety and you’re going to the Caribbean with him,’” Donehue recounted. “She said, ‘I’m taking my free vacation to the Caribbean.’”

Donehue said Mace told him she wanted to retrieve more information from Bryant’s phone during the trip and allegedly stated her intent to use it to claim two homes they jointly owned.

“I said ‘Nancy… if it ever comes out that you knew of women being harmed, and you didn’t do anything about it, your career is over,’” he said. “And she said ‘I’m going to use this information to get my houses.’”

Mace had earlier taken to the House floor in February to accuse Bryant and three other men of abuse and non-consensual recordings of s*x acts.

She alleged she found over 10,000 videos and images on Bryant’s phone, some of which she said involved rape and trafficking.

Bryant and the others have categorically denied the claims and one of the men is now suing Mace for defamation.

Despite the explosive nature of her allegations, Donehue testified that Mace did not alert law enforcement at the time.

It wasn’t until after her February speech that the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) confirmed an investigation into Bryant for assault, harassment and voyeurism, Just the News reports

According to SLED, the case is “complex,” and a file will be turned over to a prosecutor once the investigation is complete.

In a separate revelation, Donehue corroborated reports that Mace has programmed bots and burner accounts to defend herself online.

“She sets up Twitter burner accounts… She programs Facebook bots and Instagram bots and Twitter bots. It’s what she does for fun,” he said.

During a House Oversight hearing last week, Mace shocked her colleagues by displaying a nude still of herself that she claimed was taken without her consent by Bryant.

“I didn’t give my permission and this particular video that Patrick Bryant recorded of me on his secret camera, he saved for over three years without my knowledge,” she said.

Mace has not publicly responded to the new claims.

Donehue, for his part, stated he did not wish to be involved in legal proceedings but was subpoenaed to testify.

“I hope we can soon move past the soap opera drama,” he told FITSNews.
