Trump Reveals Jaw-Dropping Diddy Pardon Stance

Trump Open to Pardoning Diddy if Convicted

President Donald Trump said Friday he would consider pardoning Sean “Diddy” Combs if the music mogul is convicted on sex trafficking charges. Trump emphasized that any pardon decision would depend on the facts and whether Combs was treated unfairly.

Combs, 55, was arrested in September 2024 on federal sex trafficking charges. He remains in custody without bail.

The trial began May 5, 2025, in Manhattan and has attracted wide attention due to the serious allegations.

The prosecution’s lead witness, former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, testified that Combs subjected her to abusive and exploitative treatment over several years. Ventura described being forced into “freak-offs,” which involved days-long sex sessions with male escorts.

Another accuser, a former assistant identified as “Mia,” alleges Combs sexually assaulted her by sneaking into her bed and penetrating her without consent.

Additional charges claim Combs operated Bad Boy Records as a criminal enterprise engaging in multiple illegal activities.

These include attempts to bribe a security guard to conceal a 2016 video showing Combs assaulting Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel.

Combs also allegedly plotted to destroy rapper Kid Cudi’s Porsche during a jealous outburst and committed other violent acts.

Trump said he had not closely followed the trial but was aware of media coverage and that some were considering seeking a pardon for Combs, as the New York Post reported.

“First of all, I’d look at what’s happening, and I haven’t been watching it too closely, although it’s certainly getting a lot of coverage,” the president said.

“I haven’t seen him, I haven’t spoken to him in years. He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics… that relationship busted up, from what I read. I don’t know — he didn’t tell me that, but I’d read some little bit nasty statements,” he added.

“I would certainly look at the facts. If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact on me,” he went on.

Since his return to office, Trump has issued numerous pardons and commutations, including to politicians and celebrities.

The possibility of a pardon for Combs has stirred debate among legal experts and the public.

Critics argue it would undermine the seriousness of the charges and the judicial process.

Combs maintains his innocence through his legal team, which calls the allegations baseless.

The trial is expected to conclude by early July 2025, with closing arguments in the coming weeks.
