Biden Hilariously Humiliates Obama at Major Event

Biden Humiliates Barack Obama at His Own Event After Awkwardly Standing on Stage Alone and Asking Where His Granddaughter is

Former President Joe Biden drew renewed attention Thursday after an awkward moment at the grand opening ceremony for the Barack Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.

Video from the event showed Biden remaining alone on stage after the ceremony concluded while other dignitaries began exiting.

As music played and attendees started leaving, former President Barack Obama appeared to make his way off stage, followed by former first lady Michelle Obama and former first lady Jill Biden.

The footage showed Biden standing by himself for several moments while waving toward the crowd.

He then walked back toward the podium area, removed his sunglasses and appeared to look into the audience.

“Where’s my granddaughter?” Biden shouted before turning and beginning to leave the stage.

The clip quickly circulated on social media and sparked discussion due to similarities with several highly publicized moments during Biden’s presidency in which critics questioned his awareness during public appearances.

The event marked one of Biden’s most prominent public appearances in recent months.

The former president is currently undergoing treatment for prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones.

Thursday’s ceremony brought together several current and former political leaders for the official opening of the Obama Presidential Center.

Among those in attendance were former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, as well as former Vice President Kamala Harris and their spouses.

During the ceremony, Obama took time to acknowledge Biden’s role in his administration and praised their longtime partnership.

“Thank you to your steadfast partnership for eight years,” Obama said during his remarks.

“Joe, we started as running mates, and ended as family. And we would not be here without you, and we are grateful.”

At another point during the event, Obama walked over to Biden, patted him on the back and shared a brief exchange that drew applause from attendees.

The opening of the presidential center was intended to celebrate Obama’s legacy and the completion of the years-long project in Chicago.

However, Biden’s appearance generated additional attention as Democrats continue to assess the political consequences of the 2024 election cycle.

Following President Donald Trump’s victory in that election, many Democrats have argued that Biden should have withdrawn from the race earlier and allowed a competitive primary process to unfold.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently offered one of the strongest public criticisms of Biden’s decision to seek reelection.

Speaking during an interview this week, Clinton said Biden made what she described as a “terrible mistake” by remaining in the race.

“He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country,” Clinton said.

She argued that Democrats would have benefited from a competitive primary contest that could have produced a stronger nominee before the general election.

Former first lady Jill Biden has also reflected on the campaign in recent interviews, per Trending Politics.

She recently stated that, if given the opportunity to do things differently, she would have encouraged her husband not to pursue a second term.

Biden, who served as president from 2021 to 2025, remains the oldest individual to have held the office.

President Donald Trump, who turned 80 this year, is expected to surpass that age before the conclusion of his current term.
