Charlie Sheen Attacked With Deadly Weapon by Neighbor, Police Say
On Wednesday, Charlie Sheen was the victim of a violent attack in his home, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
The LASD told Fox News Sheen was assaulted by a woman and that deputies responded to a call related to the incident.
“On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Malibu/Lost Hills deputies responded to the 6000 block of Cavalleri Road in Malibu regarding a battery/disturbance call. Upon contacting the parties involved, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault,” authorities confirmed. “The suspect, Electra Schrock, was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Force Likely to Create Great Bodily Injury… and Residential Burglary…”
According to law enforcement sources, “Sheen heard knocking on his door, slightly opened it and saw his neighbor Electra Schrock standing there. Schrock pushed her way into Sheen’s home and began grabbing at him and his neck. Sheen tried to get away from Schrock, but she pursued him through his home.”
“Schrock grabbed at Sheen’s neck multiple times, eventually ripping his shirt. Sheen was able to call 911 while he was being attacked and while on the line with 911 continued to yell at Schrock to let him go,” reports said. “Neighbors heard the commotion and were able to intervene and help get the suspect out of the residence.”
Sheen reportedly told police that the suspect lives above him, saying he had “a previous issue with Schrock, prior to this incident.”
She had previously been arrested for a felony in March 2023. Schrock is currently in custody at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood and is scheduled to appear in court later today.
The attack on Sheen comes shortly after his return to television, after he gained a starring role in new TV series “Bookie,” returning to work with “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre to portray a fictional version of himself alongside comedian Sebastian Maniscalo, who plays a Los Angeles bookie.
Sheen called his return to TV “surreal” earlier this month, due to his past struggles with drug addiction and alcohol abuse.
“Look, for a while, there wasn’t much about my life to complain about,” Sheen told People magazine. “I lived a life where people were really happy when I showed up, and they were sad when I left.”
“That went away when everything turned to sh-t,” he said, adding, “Oh, God. Here he comes,’ and then ‘Is he gone? Good.’”
In 2011, Sheen compared his downward spiral to a “demonic possession,” during an interview on “Loose Women.” however, he now feels ready to return to the spotlight after spending the last six years sober with a “predictable routine.”
