Ramaswamy Predicts DeSantis Will Join Haley’s Ticket and ‘It’s Not His Choice’
Vivek Ramaswamy, the fast-talking quick-witted GOP presidential hopeful had a notable start but has dropped in the polls in recent months.
Many predict he will join Chris Christy, who dropped out of the race on Wednesday and suspend his campaign soon.
While he still has the spotlight, Ramaswamy has offered some predictions about the race for the Republican nomination for president.
Surprising many, on Thursday Ramaswamy predicted that Ron DeSantis will join Nikki Haley’s ticket to overtake the front-runner, former President Donald Trump.
Ramaswamy made his prediction on X, speculating that DeSantis donors would “force him to join Haley’s ticket,” according to the Washington Examiner.
Ramaswamy declared that “the system” wants to narrow the GOP field down to a “two-horse race,” featuring Trump and “a puppet they can control.”
The New York businessman claimed that “puppet … is Nikki Haley.” Ramaswamy added that soon, DeSantis will partner with Haley to become her VP. “The whole game is hiding in plain sight … It’s disgusting,” he said.
Ramaswamy said, “DeSantis may not know this yet … but he will become Haley’s VP … and so the plot continues.”
The GOP candidate argued that “the system will stop at nothing … to eliminate Trump from contention.”
Ramaswamy speculated that DeSantis will be forced to drop out of the race after Iowa’s primary. He further warned that “the system will not let [Trump] get anywhere near the White House.”
The candidate, who some say is vying for a VP position on Trump’s ticket, concluded by urging voters not to “fall into the trap.”
Ramaswamy doubled down in a brief appearance on Timcast, saying, “The very people who are paying to keep Trump off the ballot … look at who they’re supporting. It’s not Gavin Newsom. It’s not Joe Biden. It’s Nikki Haley.”
