Trump Has a Four-Word Response After Judge Threatens To Throw Him Out of E. Jean Carroll Trial

Former President Donald Trump has shared he does not believe he can receive a fair trial in lower courts in New York; Washington, D.C.; or Atlanta.

Accordingly, many believe he has attempted to win his cases in the court of public opinion.

Multiple polls indicate Trump is succeeding. Many political analysts suggest that Trump’s amazingly high poll numbers indicate strong public agreement that Biden’s Department of Justice is, as Trump alleges, “corrupt.”

After winning the Iowa primary, Trump told his followers he would be traveling to Manhattan to address what he views as spurious charges.

Trump blasted the court for refusing to delay the case by one day so he could attend the funeral of his mother-in-law.

Today, Judge Lewis Kaplan threatened to bar the former president from a civil trail in which Trump is accused of sexual abuse and defamation of character. E. Jean Carroll is the plaintiff.

In 2023, Carroll’s claim that Trump sexually assaulted her at a busy public department store, during business hours, was dismissed. Her inability to tell the court what day, week or month the assault occurred contributed to the court’s decision.

However, though the judge dismissed the assault charge, Carroll was awarded $5 million in damages. She is now suing for an additional $10 million in compensatory damages and millions more in punitive damages.

On Wednesday, Trump elected to attend phase two of the trial to hear the testimony of his accuser firsthand.

During the testimony, Trump can be heard responding to what he viewed were outrageous and salacious allegations. Kaplan thought Trump’s comments were distracting and threatened to remove the former president from the court if he continued.

Trump reportedly could be heard saying, “That’s not true,” “It’s a witch hunt” and “It really is a con job.” Trump maintains he was speaking with his attorneys and has a right to do so.

Carroll’s attorneys complained several times.

After dismissing the jury, Kaplan said to the former president: “Mr. Trump, I hope I don’t have to consider excluding you from the trial.:

Kaplan added a snide remark: “I understand you’re probably eager for me to do that.”

Trump returned with sarcasm: “I would love it,” Trump said while standing at the defense table.

An irritated Kaplan said: “I know you would like it. You just can’t control yourself in this circumstance, apparently.”

A non-intimidated Trump said, “You can’t either,” then walked out of the courtroom.

Kaplan also engaged in a testy exchange with Trump’s lead attorney, Alina Habba.
