House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said on Wednesday that he will invite President Joe Biden to testify as part of the impeachment inquiry on alleged corruption…“In the coming days, I will invite President Biden to the Oversight Committee to provide his testimony and explain why his family received tens of millions of dollars from foreign companies with his assistance,” Comer said.
Soon after the public hearing with Hunter’s former associates, Comer revealed he wanted President Biden to testify. The Republican investigator said there was a “material discrepancy” among witnesses and only Biden could address them.
This discrepancy might be the claim that Joe Biden was never involved in Hunter’s businesses. Joe’s son said that once and a while, Biden would call him during business meetings. He’d let him say “Hi” to his partners, but that was it.
But testimony from Hunter’s former partners claimed that Hunter called Joe, not the other way around. And Joe’s comments to foreign figures, like oligarchs from Russia, seemed to prove he was using his influence as vice president to secure investments for Hunter.
