Joe Biden’s alleged family ties to money around the world were on public display this week in the U.S. House of Representatives. Republicans grilled witnesses who appeared during an impeachment hearing on Wednesday.
The depth of questioning and the brutal exposure of the Bidens from one witness produced some fiery exchanges. Democrats couldn’t handle the details presented right before their eyes, and some went on the attack against the voluntary witnesses.
One of the high-profile members of the radical left contingent in the House made the mistake of taking on a witness that exposed the Bidens’ financial dealings. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) – known as AOC for short – challenged the testimony of Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of the Biden family.
AOC wanted a “simple” answer to her question, and she was hammered with more than she bargained for in the exchange. She wanted to know if Bobulinski witnessed Joe Biden committing a crime, and he responded, “Yes.”

“It is simple, you name the crime,” Ocasio-Cortez shot back. “Did you watch him steal something?” she added.Bobulinski listed “corruption statutes, RICO and conspiracy, FARA …” before stopping as Ocasio-Cortez tried to interject by demanding that he offer “specific” crimes.
“You asked me to answer the question,” Bobulinski said. “I answered the question. RICO, you’re obviously not familiar with. Corruption statutes…”
Ocasio-Cortez shot back, repeating, “Excuse me, sir!” She then singled out Bobulinski’s mention of RICO. “RICO is not a crime. It is a category,” she said.
And with that exclamation of her ignorance, AOC became a worldwide laughingstock of political ignorance. The media at all levels picked up on her lack of understanding of reality and the video clip went viral across social media.
RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) laws against racketeering were generally used to prosecute organized crime organizations in decades past. The statutes received renewed attention following RICO charges against former President Donald Trump in Georgia related to the 2020 election.
Bobulinski continued his testimony as AOC continually interrupted him and demanded he name specific crimes.
“It’s a category of crimes that you’re then charged under,” Bobulinski said. He suggested that there is a “long” list of statutes that would apply.
“It’s funny, in this committee room — everyone’s not here — there’s over 18 lawyers that went to law school. I’ll leave it up to you guys to define the statute,” he said.
Republicans jumped on the opportunity to expose AOC for her ignorance of the laws she should know in her position in Congress. The Oversight Committee, which held the hearing, placed a post on its X account aimed at AOC: “HINT: RICO is a federal law codified at 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-68.”
Another Republican aptly summed up how leftist Democrats perform in Congress when the cameras are rolling.
“Weekly meltdown by Rep. AOC,” said Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC). “Someone needs to remind the Left, just because you are loud, does not mean you are right.”
AOC made a complete ass of herself for all the world to see. Anyone supporting this political charlatan at any level of leadership should be tossed from office along with her. She has presented herself as an ignorant disgrace who should not be recognized by the media or Congress going forward.
