UFC’s Dana White Reveals The Only Time He’s Seen Trump Shaken Up

UFC’s Dana White Reveals That The Only Time He’s Seen Trump Shaken Up Was After Ivana Trump’s Passing

During an interview released on Monday, UFC Boss Dana White Revealed the only time he’s seen former president Donald Trump rattled.

During an interview with Lex Fridman, White began by detailing the former president’s “resilient” nature, saying he is generally “unfazed” by media attacks or other external conflicts.

“You want to talk about a fighter? He’s the most resilient human being I’ve ever met,” he said. “If you see the shit that this guy is going through publicly every day. And I’ll call him on the phone as a friend, and be like ‘hey you good, how you doing?’”

“Unfazed. Unfazed. Like there’s nothing going on.”

However, he said that there was one specific instance where he called Trump on the phone and he was “not good.”

“I’ve never talked about this publicly, but one time I called him, and he was not good. He was a mess, and I’ve never heard him like that. And I’ve never seen him like that.”

White confirmed that the only time he’d ever seen Trump in a bad state was “when Ivana died. The only time I’ve ever seen him f*cked up.”

White continued. “Look at all the stuff that’s gone on with Trump, all the bad stuff that they say. They’re trying to attack him. They’re trying to ruin him. Unfazed. I called him that day, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen that guy busted up and not good. He does not get rattled.”

White also spoke on his relationship with Trump over the decades the two have known each other, confirming that the former President is a massive fighting fan, and has attended a significant number of UFC events.

While the UFC was getting started out, White said that Trump offered them the Atlantic City Trump Taj Mahal to use for early UFC events.

“He showed up for the first fight of the night, and stayed through to the last fight of the night.” White said. “Then after that, any good thing that would ever happen to me in my career, Trump would reach out. Whether it was, we were on the front page of the New York Times one time, and he said ‘congratulations Dana, I always knew you guys were gonna do it.’ Little things like that, that are big things and mean a lot, especially coming from a guy like him.”

“I consider Donald Trump to be one of my very very good friends,” White added.
