Bobulinski Files Defamation Suit Against Fox News Personality

Tony Bobulinski Files Defamation Suit Against Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov After Claim Trump PAC Paid Legal Bills

Tony Bobulinski, the former business associate of First Son Hunter Biden, has made good on his promise to take legal action against Fox News commentator Jessica Tarlov for defamation.

This comes after Tarlov made on-air allegations on March 20, suggesting that Bobulinski’s financial backing was linked to a Super PAC associated with former President Donald Trump.

Despite Tarlov issuing an on-air apology following Bobulinski’s ultimatum, the businessman considered it insufficient. Consequently, on Thursday, he initiated legal proceedings against her in the United States District Court Southern District of New York.

On March 20, Bobulinski testified during the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability hearing on the Biden family’s business dealings, accusing them of leveraging their name for lucrative deals.

The crux of the matter revolves around Tarlov’s discussion with co-host Jeanine Pirro about whether Bobulinski’s earlier testimony implicated the Bidens in an influence-peddling scheme.

Tarlov asserted, “Ok, Tony Bobulinski’s lawyers’ fees have been paid by a Trump Super PAC. That’s as recent as January.” To which she was shouted down by fellow co-hosts over the claim.

Bobulinski’s legal team contends that Tarlov’s on-air clarification did not constitute a complete retraction and apology, deeming it “half-hearted, incomplete, and unacceptable.”

On Thursday, March 21, Bobulinski’s attorney, Jesse Binall from the Binall Law Group, dispatched a letter to the Fox Corporation, demanding a retraction and apology from Tarlov for her claims. Failure to comply would result in a defamation lawsuit against both Fox and Tarlov.

Bobulinski stated, “Today I filed a lawsuit against Ms. Jessica Tarlov of Fox News for defamation. Although I am seeking compensatory, special, and punitive damages… this is not about money. This is about the truth, for which I have been fighting for four years.”

In response to the defamation suit, Fox News defended Tarlov’s comments, emphasizing that they stand by their decision to not issue further corrections and will vigorously defend against the allegations.

Bobulinski’s lawsuit seeks $30 million in damages, alleging that Tarlov sought to “defame and undermine” his character.

  • I think she should be fired because you do not go on television to defame anybody and if you do then you need to pay for what you say you can’t just say anything because you’re a Democrat

  • She’s a til death due us part liberal democrat. I don’t think she has ever done a bit of research on anything before she starts yammering her statements

  • I religiously watch Fox news and all programming for true honest reporting. She failed us listeners. On The Five, she takes the opposite site as the rest of the panel. It’s a hard job for sure. But don’t try to win points against your panel colleagues with lies. Everyone needs to be held accountable for what they say. In this crazy world, we need truth. Lord knows we can’t listen to ABC, CBS, or CNN to get that.
