‘Yellowstone’ Actor’s 27-Year-Old Nephew Found Dead

Cole Brings Plenty, Nephew of ‘Yellowstone’ Star Mo Brings Plenty, Found Dead In Kansas At Age 27

Actor Cole Brings Plenty, best known for his role in “Yellowstone” spinoff  “1923” has reportedly been found dead in Kansas, less than a week after he was first reported missing.

TMZ reported that the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement on Friday, revealing that they discovered the 27-year-old nephew of “Yellowstone” star Mo Brings Plenty in a wooded area. Law enforcement officials said a citizen noticed an unoccupied vehicle nearby and notified authorities.

Investigators are working to collect evidence that might help them determine the circumstances of Brings Plenty’s death.

Johnson County deputies are currently leading the investigation, but no cause of death has yet been reported, and no further information about the scene has been released yet.

Mo Brings Plenty reported his nephew missing after he was unable to be reached in person nor via cell phone for an extended period of time.

“Cole missed an appointment with his agent for a TV show, which is uncharacteristic for him. Cole’s cell phone is currently off,” Mo Brings Plenty wrote on a poster shared to Instagram.

“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the community who has contributed their time, resources, and support in helping us search for the missing person. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly thankful for your cooperation and dedication during this challenging time,” Mo Brings Plenty wrote in a separate post

“Your assistance has been invaluable, and we appreciate the unity and compassion shown by all those involved in the search efforts. Thank you for coming together as a community to aid in our mission to locate and bring the missing person home safely. Your collective efforts have made a meaningful impact, and we are grateful for your ongoing support.”

Brings Plenty was last seen in Kansas on April 1. TMZ reported that his disappearance occurred shortly after he was named as a suspect in a domestic violence case.

Lawrence Police submitted an affidavit to the District Attorney for Brings Plenty’s arrest after an incident on Easter Morning, which allegedly involved a female victim screaming for help. Officers were dispatched to the scene, but by the time they arrived, Brings Plenty had already fled the scene, reportedly in a white Ford Explorer.

Cole was most famous for his role in “1923,” but also appeared in “Into the Wild Frontier” and “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.”
