With only a few exceptions, most Hollywood celebrities are liberals. Many of them come out of the woodwork this time of year to push voters into supporting Democrat candidates.
This year is no different. Celebrities, suffering from severe Trump Derangement Syndrome, are panicked over his possible return to the White House.
One of these hardcore Democrats, singer and actress Barbra Streisand, is trying to manipulate voters into supporting failed President Joe Biden. She made the wild claim that only under Democrat presidents has America experienced economic growth. That’s when fact-checkers sharpened their knives.

Until the once-in-a-century pandemic hit in 2020, Republican Donald Trump’s (2017-2020) economic record was outstanding. His pro-growth policies returned America to real and sustained growth, unemployment hit record lows, and mortgage rates dropped to around three percent.
Fact-checkers pulled Streisand’s claim apart with the facts. Ronald Reagan inherited a crumbling economy. But thanks to his aggressive policies, the economy rebounded. Reagonimics actually continue to help America well into Clinton’s presidency.
Clinton helped bring America into another recession, which rebounded during most of Bush’s presidency. The economic crash of 2008 was thanks to policies put into place by the federal government. Obama made the problem worse thanks to raising taxes, increasing regulation, and creating Obamacare.
Prior to the pandemic, Trump’s economy was one of the best in American history. Mortgage rates were only 3 percent, something that is never seen. Only when COVID hit did the economy take a tumble; many say a Democrat in office during 2020 would have made the problem much worse.
Despite the economy recovering in 2021, Biden managed to top Obama by pushing radical government spending and raising taxes. Streisand’s claim isn’t remotely based in fact and would only convince people unwilling to look at the actual history.
