DHS Docs Reveal Where Paroled Illegal Immigrants Under Biden Flight Program Are Landing: Report

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data reveals that hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants have flown into over 45 cities across the U.S. through a contentious parole program for four nationalities.

The majority of these illegal immigrants are entering via airports in Florida, as explained in an exclusive report from Fox News.

The outlet states that between January and August 2023, approximately 200,000 migrants arrived in the U.S. through the program.

80% (161,562) landed in Florida, as per DHS data obtained by the House Homeland Security Committee via subpoena.

Fox highlights that the program, initially announced for Venezuelans in October 2022, permitted a select number to fly or travel directly into the U.S., provided they hadn’t entered illegally, had a sponsor in the U.S., and passed specific biometric and biographical screenings.

The program notably does not arrange flights as illegal immigrants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

The administration announced in January 2023 the expansion of a program aimed at immigrants from Haiti, Nicaragua, and Cuba.

The program now permits up to 30,000 individuals per month to enter the United States, providing them with work permits and a two-year authorization to reside in the country. It coincided with an enlargement of Title 42 expulsions to encompass these nationalities.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently emphasized the program’s role as a “safe and orderly way to reach the United States,” attributing it to a decline in illegal immigrant numbers from these specific nationalities.

Mayorkas remarked, “It is a key element of our efforts to address the unprecedented level of migration throughout our hemisphere, and other countries around the world see it as a model to tackle the challenge of increased irregular migration that they too are experiencing.”

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data indicated that over 400,000 nationals had arrived under this parole program by the end of February 2024.

The data showed that the top cities where illegals predominantly landed during an eight-month period were primarily located in Florida, with Miami (91,821) and Ft. Lauderdale (60,461) leading the list.

New York City trailed with 14,827, followed by Houston, Texas (7,923), Orlando, Florida (6,043), Los Angeles, California (3,271), Tampa, Florida (3,237), and Dallas, Texas (2,256).

DHS disclosed in response to a subpoena that as of October 2023, approximately 1.6 million applicants awaited approval to enter the U.S. through the parole program.

“All individuals paroled into the United States are, by definition, inadmissible, including those paroled under the CHNV processes,” DHS said in its response.

We reported last month on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis taking action against President Joe Biden’s “illegal” and “secret” flight program.

“ … We know the program’s going on, we’re suing over it. We know it’s illegal and not constitutional, but they are not coordinating with state government at all,” DeSantis asserted.

DeSantis’ accusation of Biden sending migrants to Miami came after a bombshell analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) that highlighted Florida has emerged as the primary destination for these illegal immigrant flights.
