Watch: Flag Guy Delivers Marvelous 4AM Wake-Up Call For Pro-Palestine Protestors
Some Americans have refused to remain passive in the face of out-of-control pro-Palestine protestors causing disruptions and chaos on college campuses across the U.S.
One such person is “The Flag Guy” who boldly attends college protests, proudly waving both Israeli and American flags.
He recently took to UCLA’s campus equipped with a public address system to give everyone sleeping in the tents a friendly 4:30 am wake up call: “Wake up, commies!”
The video spoofs Robin Williams’ “Good Morning, Vietnam!” greeting playing alongside loud morning rooster crows he had on tape.
The Flag Guy then yells to sleeping protestors, “Wake up, commies! Wake up!”
RedState reported that given the contentious atmosphere on campuses, this was undeniably a courageous act. While The Flag Guy encounters hostility from radicals, he also garners significant support from those grateful for his stance against the extremism plaguing campuses.
Users on X swiftly weighed in to show their appreciation for the morning wake-up call that had them entertained. “Adrian Cronauer, the real DJ from Good Morning Vietnam, was a dear friend and would have loved this homage,” wrote one user.
The Flag Guy has done similar kinds of demonstrations before. Back in March, he took his American and Israeli flags to UCLA to speak with some students.
Other occurrences of pushback against pro-Palestine protestors have garnered massive attention online too. At UNC Chapel Hill, for example, some “frat boys” at the University of North Carolina protected the American Flag from protesters who wanted it torn down.
Not The Bee reported that fraternity members guarded the American flag after police departed while protestors attempted to remove it. Video footage captured the boys enduring a barrage of water bottles while defending the flag.
“Brendan Rosenblum, a junior and Jewish student at UNC-Chapel Hill, had water bottles thrown at him as he stood in the middle of the quad by with an Israeli flag while protesters tried to replace an American flag with a Palestinian one,” Bryan Anderson shared on X.
Someone eventually opened up a GoFundMe page for the boys, with a bio that read: “Commie losers across the country have invaded college campuses to make dumb demands of weak University Administrators.”
“But amidst the chaos, the screaming, the anti-semitism, the hatred of faith and flag, stood a platoon of American heroes. Armored in Vineyard Vines and Patagonia, fueled by Zyn and White Claws, these triumphant Brohemians protected Old Glory from the unwashed Marxist horde — laughing at their shrieks and wails and shielding the Stars & Stripes from Soviet missiles,” the bio added.
“These boys… no, men, of the UNC Chapel Hill Pi Kappa Phi, gave the best to America and now they deserve the best,” it continued. “Help us raise funds to throw this frat the party they deserve, a party worth of the boat-shoed Broleteriat who did their country proud.”
X users ceremoniously praised the page for its hilarious description. “Frat boys are literally saving America,” lamented Kingsley Wilson.
The bio was later updated, stating, “We are overwhelmed by you glorious, Patriotic Americans who value good beer and great times. We are in contact with multiple leaders from fraternities whose members helped defend the flag, including Alpha Epsilon Pi and others, in addition to Pi Kappa Psi. Our gratitude goes to all of them and we will update supporters on what comes next.”
