Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has revealed that he is using the pharmaceutical drug Ivermectin to combat his battle with “long Covid.”
This disclosure comes despite Cuomo’s previous criticism of individuals advocating for Ivermectin’s use during the pandemic in 2020, where he asserted that they “need to be shamed.”
The Post Millennial reported that Cuomo, who now holds a position at NewsNation, made this revelation during his appearance on Patrick Bet-David’s show, “PBD Podcast.”
Cuomo maintained his stance on alternative COVID-19 treatments that deviate from vaccination, however, he expressed strong disagreement with the U.S. government’s guidance on Ivermectin, labeling it “wrong.”
He claimed that his earlier commentary on the drug was based on purported facts provided by the government during that period.
Cuomo disclosed his battle with what medical professionals diagnose as “long Covid,” stating firmly, “I’m doing all the protocols.”
“I do not fault myself for telling people at the time what the government was giving us as best practices,” Cuomo stated, addressing his past actions.
He soon made the startling revelation by declaring, “I am taking a regular dose, whatever, of Ivermectin.”
Cuomo criticized the initial characterization of Ivermectin during the pandemic, labeling it as a “boogeyman” fueled by misinformation. “The real question is why?… The entire clinical community knew that Ivermectin couldn’t hurt you,” he said.
“I am doing nothing but talking to these clinicians who at the time were overwhelmed but they weren’t saying anything,” he added.
Cuomo then highlighted the drug’s affordability and widespread use as an anti-microbial and anti-viral agent.
Cuomo revealed that his doctor and her family were among those utilizing Ivermectin during the pandemic, emphasizing its efficacy.
“It was working for them. So they were wrong to play scared on that. Didn’t know it at the time, know it now, admit it now, reporting on it now,” he asserted.
The former CNN host made headlines earlier this week after making a shocking admission about the COVID vaccines he received.
We reported that Cuomo revealed he has been experiencing side effects he attributes to the shots.
Cuomo didn’t specify his symptoms but expressed worry about enduring health abnormalities for himself and others.
“We know that vaccines can have unintended consequences, a.k.a. side effects… But nobody’s really talking about it because they’re too afraid of blame, and they just want it to go away,” Cuomo stated during his interview with nurse practitioner Shaun Barcavage who’s also suffering from vaccine side effects.
Cuomo continued, “But the problem is people like Shaun and me and millions of others who still have weird stuff with their bloodwork and their lives and their feelings physically are not going away.”
Barcavage then recounted his alarming experience, which started immediately after his first dose of the vaccine in 2020.
His symptoms included heart palpitations upon standing, numbness, and persistent tingling that rapidly extended from his arm to his face and eyes, intensifying after his second dose.
“I will never stop reporting on this,” Cuomo said later in the interview. “All I’m doing is just beating the drum for a 9/11-style commission to figure out what worked and what didn’t and what questions need to be answered because it’s not over.”
