Senior Trump Official Busted After Video Shows Her Allegedly Playing With a Sex Toy Aboard a GOP Donor’s Yacht
A senior Trump administration official is facing scrutiny after a video reportedly captured her playing with a sex toy aboard a Republican donor’s yacht while new questions emerge about her living arrangement with a registered foreign agent.
Lynne Patton, 52, who serves as deputy assistant to the president for coalition policy and engagement, appears in footage obtained by the Daily Mail from a February 2025 gathering aboard a yacht in Florida.
The video was reportedly recorded Feb. 6, 2025, following a black-tie charity gala at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In the footage, Patton is seen barefoot in a gold sequined dress as a small vibrator is tossed and kicked around the yacht’s cabin while members of the group laugh.
At one point, Patton repeatedly tells the person recording the encounter not to capture their faces.
The man filming was Washington lobbyist Ryan Coyne, according to the report.
Coyne’s relationship with Patton is attracting attention for reasons extending well beyond the yacht video.
Months after the footage was recorded, Coyne was identified in Justice Department filings as working on behalf of foreign interests. Patton, meanwhile, has allegedly been living at Coyne’s multimillion-dollar Virginia penthouse while serving in the White House.
Multiple sources cited by the Daily Mail stressed that the relationship between Patton and Coyne is not romantic or sexual.
The report nevertheless said the living arrangement has caused concern among some White House officials because of Coyne’s foreign lobbying work.
In May 2025, Miami-based Tactic COC LLC registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act to represent the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and a private Vietnamese company.
The work sought to persuade the US government to “avoid or reduce” a proposed 46% tariff on Vietnamese imports, according to the filing.
Coyne was identified as a consultant who would provide advice concerning US-Vietnam trade relations and arrange meetings when requested.
Coyne subsequently filed his own registration statement identifying himself as a partner in CRB Global LLC and listing the Republic of Somaliland as a foreign principal.
He acknowledged that his services included political activity aimed at influencing the US government, according to the filing.
The address listed for Coyne’s residence and CRB Global was the same Virginia penthouse where the Daily Mail reports Patton has been living.
The apartment was purchased by Coyne for $3.2 million in 2020 and has an estimated rental value exceeding $14,000 per month, according to public records and a Zillow estimate cited by the outlet.
Multiple sources alleged that Patton stays there without paying rent, although the Daily Mail noted there is no public record establishing the penthouse as Patton’s residence.
A White House official disputed suggestions that Patton was improperly benefiting from the arrangement, saying she maintains “all required ethical standards” and is financially responsible for her residences.
Coyne has also reportedly accompanied Patton to official events, including gatherings at the White House and Mar-a-Lago.
A December photograph cited by the outlet showed the two together at a White House Christmas party after Coyne had registered with the Justice Department in connection with his foreign work.
Text messages reviewed by the Daily Mail also purportedly show Patton helping Coyne and others obtain access to Mar-a-Lago.
One message sent on behalf of Coyne and Republican fundraiser Caroline Wren sought access to the club for a meeting with an unidentified South American diplomat.
“They of course would like to cut you in on the deal if it closes,” the message stated.
The nature of the alleged deal and whether it was completed remain unclear.
Patton has been associated with the Trump family for years, previously working as an event planner and senior aide to Eric Trump and his foundation before joining the first Trump administration.
She served as a Department of Housing and Urban Development official before admitting in 2021 that she violated the Hatch Act by using relationships developed through her government position to produce a video for the 2020 Republican National Convention.
Patton paid a $1,000 civil penalty and agreed to a 48-month ban from federal employment.
She later returned to government and now works in the White House Office of Public Liaison.
The Daily Mail noted that senior White House officials are subject to financial disclosure and security-vetting requirements. The White House did not answer the outlet’s questions about whether Patton disclosed the reported living arrangement or anything of value allegedly received from Coyne.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung defended Patton, calling her a “longtime, valued aide” who plays an important role in advancing Trump’s agenda.
A spokesman for Coyne similarly defended his conduct, saying the lobbyist “fully complies with all federal disclosure laws.”
